Incredible India - Part 1 of 3

In September of 2020, I will be traveling to India for the very first time. Yes, even someone as well-traveled as me has a few pins yet to be placed on their travel map! India is a country full of incredible experiences with many often overwhelming and competing options for travel. Throughout my many years in the travel industry, I have witnessed one particular company in India do an exceptional job with my clients and the clients of my colleagues. Zutshi Travel always goes above and beyond to ensure a safe and handheld experience for those who are nervous or new to India, while still infusi...

Boutique Safari founders Abbey and Raymond, are Maasai and grew up in the bush in the traditional Maasai cultural fashion. This unique cultural connection provides many opportunities to learn and interact with lo...

The Parks and Animals of Jenny Revesz and Abby Olemisiko's "Trip of a Lifetime" Boutique African Safari Itinerary I am back this month with part two of my three part African Safari blog series. In this entry, I am sharing about the incredible natural landscape and animals that we encountered with our expert guide Abby of Boutique Safari on our annual Tanzania Safari. Many factors come into play and having an expert guide who is willing to go above and beyond and knows the tr...

Family Ties

Recently, Elizabeth Story of Kensington Tours shared her experience. We thought we should share the highlights with you! "I feel like one of the lucky ones when I tell people where I get to work, and my good fortune rang particularly true when I took my daughter to South Africa with Kensington Tours. We both had an exhaustive wish list when it came to what we hoped to do: She wanted a safari, I hoped to sip my way through Cape Winelands, and even though our ask was large (and sometimes ever-changing), our Destination Experts customized it all without so much as a sigh. We saw things we couldn...

Yukon Experience to come back to!

Whitehorse is outstanding and I have been knocked off my feet with what a wonderful place this is. Today is my last day here and it is going to be epic. Dog Sledding followed by Ice Fishing followed by Snowmobiling and then tonight back out to view the Northern Lights. We went out last night but unfortunately it did not clear up so I am running on approx. 3 hours sleep since we did not get back to the hotel until 2.30am this morning. I have learnt how to blow glass at a fascinating glass studio. Been out to the wildlife preserve and learnt all about the animals and their lifestyle up north. S...

Reflection on successful group tour

What an outstanding Group and an Incredible Trip to Africa in May 2018! Upon arrival into Arusha, we were met by Abby from Boutique Safaris and transferred to the Mount Meru Hotel for our 2 night stay. After a lovely breakfast we were up and at it, first stop, the Tanzanite Museum. Here we learned about this absolutely amazing gemstone. Second stop, Masai Market. Lots of purchases were made here as we strolled the rows of the markets admiring the wonderful trinkets. It was then time for a well deserved lunch - here in Africa, no one is in a rush! Our afternoon was at the Cradle of Love Orphan...
